She don't look like much but she'll fly...er sink.

Upper body strength, or lack thereof, will be what I remember most from this long week. I have sanded all the texture off of the walls and ceiling creating quite a racket and mess in the process. I have also finished, just this evening, spreading the last bit of joint compound to all the far reaches of the room high and low. The real mess comes next with the sanding down of that dried joint compound to make a nice flat surface to paint. Sanding it creates a fine and powdery dust and if you have ever done any drywalling before you know it coats EVERYTHING in the whole house. I am hoping to minimize that by hanging plastic over the door out and setting up a fan to exhaust outside through the window.
